Central Stara Planina cities provide European tourist product

These days the city of Lovech was a host of the 10th Regional Tour Expo “On the way of the sun”. In the last few years, united by the aspiration to enrich and modernize its tour supply, the municipalities from Central Stara Planina have confirmed as the most successful  model for developing  stable tourism. Nowadays walking tours, visiting ancient towns and villages and programs for adventurous tourism are the most popular. It is emphasized on attractions and animation. In the ethnographic complex Etara, for example, you can become familiar with the minutes details of the local artistic crafts if you attend the organized courses there.  In Kazanlak, which is famous as the capital of The Rose Valley, you can see the old technologies of the traditional for this place production of rose-oil. Around Troyan you can become a part of extreme experiences. The purpose is to provide attractive programs for relaxation which keep to the standards of the contemporary trends. Many of the museums diversify their activity and start thinking of different attractions. For example in Tryavna the museums already provide night visits under the motto “Night Suns”, which is unique for the country. They also provide the so called “retro-photos” there (photos in antique robes) etc.Tryavna, Bozhentsi, Lovech, Troyan, Kazanlak and other old mountain towns, which have preserved the architectural appearance, provide a nostalgic walk in the past. Their houses of the Bulgarian nation revival, made of stone and wood, the ancient bent over the rivers bridges and the steep cobbled streets give a specific color to these unaffected by the years towns and villages. Many Germans, Dutchmen, Englishmen and Americans stay in the municipalities of Central Stara Planina. They are mainly interested in the museums with rich ethnographic collections near the monasteries and the hidden villages in the mountain. Jeep safari, birds observation, botanical routes, paint ball, horse riding and mountain cycling diversify the vacation in this paradise recess in Bulgaria.
