Pamporovo AD to invest 13 mln levs in a new six seats ski-lift near by the Stoykite village

Pamporovo AD announces its intentions to invest 13 million levs in the expansion of the resort sky zone towards the Stoykite village.

A project concerning the construction of a new 3 km-long six seats lift run, elaborated last year, already received the approval of the authorities -  Pamporovo AD commented. The new lift will service two new 4 million levs ski runs with a total length of 7 km, which should become operational this year.

Pamporovo AD ambitions lean towards establishing a connection between the areas of Chepelare, Pamporovo and Perelik. Pamporovo AD’s main shareholders also plan to further invest in the development of the new   vacation village Stoykite. During the last couple of years, the company has invested over 40 million levs in infrastructural improvements and development projects, concerning the ski runs and the resort itself. The amount does not include the funds allocated for the new lift and ski runs to Stoykite.

Over the period 2005-007, some 10 million levs were invested in the development of the 55 km long ski runs and the snowboard halfpipe of the resort. Actually, the resort’s ski-lift services 8 600 persons per hour.
